By creating a Hunt+Gather account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree to use Hunt+Gather lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

• Post content that is false, misleading, or fraudulent (including false harvest reports)
• Share illegal hunting or fishing activity, including poaching, trespassing, or exceeding legal limits
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Use the platform to sell illegal goods or services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download platform data

YOUR CONTENT

You retain ownership of content you post (harvest photos, harvest logs, trip data). By posting content, you grant Hunt+Gather a license to display and distribute it within the platform as directed by your privacy settings. You can delete your content at any time.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate others' rights and complies with applicable hunting and fishing regulations.

LICENSE DATA AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Hunt+Gather provides tools to help you organize your licenses and stay informed about regulations, but we are not a regulatory authority. You are responsible for verifying your own license validity and compliance with all applicable hunting and fishing laws. We make no warranty that license or regulation data in the app is current or complete.

LOCATION AND SAFETY

Hunt+Gather includes location-sharing features for Pack coordination. You agree that location data you share is done voluntarily. Never rely solely on Hunt+Gather for navigation or emergency communication in the field. Always carry appropriate safety equipment.

PACK FEATURES

Pack Leaders are responsible for the conduct of their Pack members. We reserve the right to remove Packs or members that violate these Terms. The check-in and location-sharing features are tools to assist with group coordination — they are not a substitute for proper safety planning.

MARKETPLACE (TRADING POST)

Transactions in the Trading Post are between buyers and sellers. Hunt+Gather facilitates the connection but is not a party to any transaction. You are responsible for complying with all laws applicable to the sale of firearms, archery equipment, and other regulated items in your jurisdiction.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Hunt+Gather is provided "as is." We make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific feature will be available. Offline functionality depends on cached data and may not reflect the most current license or regulation information.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hunt+Gather is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including any damages arising from reliance on license or regulation information.

TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your public posts may remain visible until manually removed.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
